Purchase Order Terms & Conditions

  1. Only the terms and conditions set forth in this document, which is referenced on all United Centerless Grinding & Thread Rolling (UCGTR) purchase orders shall be binding upon their issuance unless otherwise accepted in writing by an authorized agent of UCGTR. Terms and conditions contained in any order acknowledgement or with the delivery of any goods under the order which are different from or in addition to the terms as set forth below, will not be binding unless agreed to by UCGTR in writing.
  2. Supplier shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
  3. Certificates of conformance are required with shipment of product to our facility when noted on purchase order.
  4. Acceptance of an order or contract from UCGTR allows our personnel, customer representatives and/or regulatory agency representatives the right of entry into your facility to review any product, process or records relative to our purchase order.
  5. Suppliers shall conform to all drawing and/or purchase order specification requirements, including revision levels, that are flowed down.
  6. Suppliers shall inform UCGTR quality department, in writing and prior to shipment, of any suspected non-conforming material or services that are discovered or created.
  7. Suppliers will provide test specimens for design approval, inspection/verification, investigation or auditing when noted on purchase order.
  8. Suppliers will implement a Quality Management System that must comply with any system requirements flowed down on UCGTR purchase orders.
  9. Qualification of equipment and/or personnel shall be maintained.
  10. Suppliers shall comply to any “key characteristic” requirements specified on UCGTR purchase orders.
  11. Suppliers must purchase raw materials in accordance with the standards set forth by the current DFAR Supplement.
  12. Suppliers must conform to federal requirements for Code of Ethics and Counterfeit parts prevention.
  13. Suppliers will not subcontract, in part or in full, any of the work or services provided without written consent from UCGTR.
  14. Suppliers will maintain all relative quality records for a minimum of 3 years
  15. Suppliers will alert UCGTR of any process changes relative to our purchase order prior to implementing the process.
  16. Suppliers must ensure their employees are aware of their contribution to product conformity and product safety as well as the importance of ethical behavior.
